PETG FAQS - What is Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG) and what is PETG used for?
Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol or PETG sheet is a rigid, transparent plastic sheet made from thermoplastic polyester. PETG offers high impact strength, glass clear clarity and light transmission with a high gloss surface finish.
PETG plastic sheets are easy to screen print and ideal for print applications such as in advertising, signage and point of sale. PETG is also food contact approved, so suitable for use in the food and drink industries.
PETG sheet is easily fabricated through vacuum forming, line bending, bonding or welding techniques.
Typical applications of PETG sheet include point of sale, retail stands and displays, sign making, packaging, glazing and protective screens.
