    Vacuum forming is a simplified version of thermoforming, which is one of the oldest and most popular methods of processing plastic material.  The process involves the heating of a plastic sheet until it is soft and then draping it over a mould.  A vacuum is applied to suck the sheet onto the mould and then the sheet is removed from the mould leaving the sheet in the desired shape.

    With the government's pledge to eradicate all avoidable plastic waste at the forefront of today's news, SWP would like to emphasise that none of our plastics go to landfill.

    We offer an extensive range of plastics in recycled form. From stock, ABS and HIPS are available in virgin grade and recycled whilst ViPrint and PVC are available with an MOQ of just 500kgs.

    In order to offer a closed loop service, we work closely with Recycled Plastics who are certified by the Environmental Agency as being exempt from their standard regulations as they do not landfill materials.

    All of our materials are 100% recyclable.

    SWP offer an extensive range of tapes and adhesives at great value.  Each product has its own key features and design use:

    Plastick 101

    A viscous clear adhesive for joining HIPS to HIPS, has good gap filling properties and is also used as an insulating lacquer and electrical coil coating solution.

    Plastick 1506

    Another viscous adhesive but for joining ABS to ABS and PVC to PVC.  Slow drying and thick for gap filling and fabrication.

    A clear thin bodied, non flammable solvent for joining HIPS to HIPS.
