As many of you know we lost our dear friend and colleague Matt Walden from Amari Plastics in Wednesbury earlier this year, who died as a result of a seizure brought on by Epilepsy.

We have decided that it would be good idea to use our Karting event in September as a starting point to help raise some money for Epilepsy Research UK in Matts honour.

Epilepsy Research UK supports and promotes basic and clinical scientific research into the causes, treatments and prevention of epilepsy.  They are the only national charity in the UK that is exclusively dedicated to funding independent research into this condition.

Epilepsy Research UK supports the work of scientists and clinicians throughout the UK, who are investigating all aspects of epilepsy in both adults and children. They are especially looking at what causes epilepsy, who is at risk of developing it, what goes on in the brain during a seizure, and safer drugs and better surgical techniques to treat it.

On the 16th June Amari officially opened it’s newest Centre in Northern Ireland.

Amari Belfast becomes the 15th Centre of Amari Plastics.  Paul Williams, the new Manager, has over 26 years experience within the industry and leads a team of 2 sales executives and 2 warehousing staff.

We wish them every success and hope that this new centre will be a hit in Northern Ireland.
