PET and PETg
Our print and display grades of PET and PETg may sound as though they are very similar. Yet both sheets have differing properties that should be compared when choosing a material for your project. Both sheets are clear and offer excellent optical clarity. PET also known as APET is a sheet which is harder, more brittle and is good for print, however, in sheet form it is not suitable for vacuum forming. PETg, in comparison, is a rigid sheet which has high transparency and toughness, ideal for vacuum forming but is not suitable for print.
We also now offer APET and RPET on the reel. Ideal for volume packaging applications such as food packaging, or blister packaging.
